Hi all,

The power supply unit in my mid 2011 mini has died. Unfortunately being in the UK there aren’t many stockists about for these and all of them that are charging a reasonable price are out of stock.

I was wondering if the 2010/2012 PSUs could be used instead. They all seems to have the same connections and 85w output. Does anybody know?

Thanks

Mike

In theory it should work without problems (at least the 2012 model).
But without testing, cannot give you a direct answer.

I have a 2012 power supply in my 2011 mini, and it works fine. The part numbers were identical when I replaced it, but I can't speak to the 2010 models.

thanks guys, I’ve found a few places selling them that have compatibility charts listing the PSUs being compatible through all the A1347 variants.
