iPhone 12 Pro PUBG issues on 12 Pro

I have been trying to play PUBG Mobile on my 12 Pro and it doesn’t seem very smooth on it. It lags and I get a lot of miss touches. Meaning I have to press harder or press a couple of times to get the touches to register sometimes. My Pixel 4xl ran smoother with basically no lag. I’m wondering if it’s just because the game isn’t optimized for the 12 pro yet. I’ve played Cod mobile and it runs great. Has anyone else ran into issues with miss touches? I’m not using a screen protector either. It’s almost like the touch sensitivity is off a little bit. But it seems like it’s a problem with the game itself.

I have been tweaking my button layout and button sizes. It seems to have fixed the missed button presses for the most part. But it still should run a bit better than it is as far as lag. I experienced the lag on the highest frame rate and smooth graphics. I since have moved to slightly slower frame rate and higher graphic settings just to test it out. I definitely don’t like the slower frame rate.

For me it lags and also kicks me out the match twice.
