Ah, that subtle difference was not in the MacRumors post on the subject. My question remains though: will the existing profile for iOS 9 betas also govern this one, or is it separate?
 
By the way, I've never heard these betas pre-announced before.

Separate. The current iOS 9 beta profile only governs the 9.3.3 betas.
 
Can those of us who have the developer beta install the public beta? Also, any idea if the watchos3 developer beta will work with the iOS 10 public beta?

If you already have the developer beta there's no need for you to do the public beta.

I ran public betas with watch OS2 betas and everything worked...
 
That was going to be my question: I have the iOS 9 beta profile. How do I get to the iOS public beta. Different profile?
The settings>profile>beta> says that it expired on july 1st, guess that's for 9.x, and we need a new one for 10.
It isn't available for me, 'unknown error'.
