I have Minneapolis' public wifi service (awful), and they gave me a Ruckus wifi modem made for metro public wifi networks. Its a POS and is always losing the signal. I plug it in to my airport express and send out the signal in my apartment, as the Ruckus thing doesn't re-broadcast.
