I recently pulled out my old cube I had stored in my garage for close to 20 years and it actually worked. I had replaced the video card years ago, I don't remember what it is but I do remember flashing it on a PC. It also has a 1ghz cpu I replaced. My question is, is there a modern OS that I can put on it to make it usable for web browsing. I put MorphOS on it but, I'm still looking for something else.

MorphOS likely has an edge over anything else for web browsing on G4s. Anything else will likely give you a worse web browsing experience.
However, you might also enjoy Leopard, which has Aquafox/Aquaweb Micro, Powerfox (soon to have a JIT), and Leopard Webkit. Debian and ArchPOWER have Luakit which has also been reviewed well on this forum, and better fulfill the criteria of a modern OS.

I wish I had heard of these before wiping the drive. I still have some install disks from way back. Thanks for the advice.

Impressive to hear that you’ve had a cube in storage, been looking for one for ages - especially with an updated CPU and GPU. With 1ghz you can easily run Tiger or even Leopard (but I’d 1000% recommend Sorbet Leopard). We’ve had some cool software breakthroughs the past few years which make either one a much more modern experience than they were even a few years ago.
MorphOS is a good move if you’re OK with the whole vibe. Also worth noting it’s only usable with an ATI card.
On the Linux side, this would be an interesting test bed for ArchPOWER.
On the BSD side, i always root for OpenBSD.
As for anything else… well, actually, the Cube is a Classic MacOS native device! Dual boot MacOS 9.2.2 and get into that universe of retro (macos9lives.com is a great resource).
