There’s many ways to do this including a new app so why did they decided to do this 😭 this gotta be the dumbest thing.

I’m gonna need a setting option to disable this. When this is released a lot of people are going to hate this

One thing I missed about my Clicks Keyboard was being able to invoke spotlight search anywhere from any app. We can do that now without a keyboard. I personally like it, but I can see how some people wouldn't. I’ve accidentally invoked it more times than I’d care to admit.

Agree with this complaint. I can open Siri by swiping down from the middle of the screen (either a home screen or lock screen) so hijacking the top-middle pull-down is really irritating.

It also helps to highlight just how crap Apple's Notifications system is - on both MacOS and iOS. On iOS, one shouldn't have to pull down a lock-screen just to get a compressed and overlapped mess of notifications. Yeah, I'm having a rant.

Because you can’t swipe down for Siri when you’re inside the app, that’s why they added swipe down from the middle.

Personally I love it as I can swipe for Siri wherever I am without pressing the button if I don’t want voice input.

There should be a setting for this, for sure.

It’s also annoying when Siri AI is thinking/loading results and I accidentally brush the bottom of the screen with my finger, completely erasing my entire inquiry. It should at least complete my request and move it to the Siri app if I dismiss the blob.

Same, also if I ask Siri something basic, some responses will not end up in the Siri app, which I find annoying. I don't care if I'm asking Siri something basic like 2+2, I want everything I ask as an option to be in the app so I can carry on later on if I wish.
