Punching in?

Hey e'budy.
I'm using Logic Express and like it.
My question is pretty basic and is=
'how do you punch in' while you're playing guitar on a track with your hands full?
I could use up a new track but would rather not.
Is there a device perhaps a usb footswitch to solve this issue?
