Purchase at Apple Online Store

    If I purchase a customized Macbook at the Apple Online Store, and for some reason it seems to be defective, can I return it to a retail location for a repair or would I have to ship it back to wherever it came from?

    You can return it to an Apple store, although they may need to order parts in. To be fair, you can't expect all the Apple stores to carry multiple stock of all parts, just in case someone needs it.
