I purchased the MacBook Air at the Apple Store with the Applecare.

It was registered to my MacBook, and the receipt shows AppleCare but how come they never gave me the box for it? Is it normal not to receive the box?

it is tied to the serial number. I did the same and didn't get a little packet. No big deal, it is on your receipt and in their system.

Yes, it was registered. Anyone else not get a box with in-store purchase.

If it's anything like those vending machines with the spiral dispensers, then the next person would get a box with two Macs in it ;)
