Purchases disappear after download

Movies and TV shows that I download from my "purchases" section in account onto my iPad disappear when I try to play them. Here are a couple of notes of what happens to me.

-I download them from icloud

-I try to play them and when I do they go back to the menu screen

-After that the items disappear altogether or the video app crashes


Has this happened to anyone else? Has this happened to anyone who has download through iTunes and not iCloud. Thanks for reading and I hope that this makes sense.

What do you mean you download them from iCloud? iTunes in the Cloud (previous purchases)?

Strange. Does that happen only in iOS, only on a particular device or also on iTunes?

just on iOS devices (my iPad)

You might try logging out and back in in the iOS Settings. Otherwise I'd try to reset the iPad.
