Purchasing a Unibody Macbook Pro 15"

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of purchasing a 15" MBP in the coming weeks. Is there anything I should be aware of? For instance, is there a speed bump or event (e.g. back to school?) coming up in the near future?

I was thinking of purchasing one soon to replace my old MBP that was stolen - though this time around I want to try and get the best value for my money so it doesn't hurt the wallet as much. Is the Apple store still my best bet with the education discount? Or is there another place that sells the laptop at a cheaper price/in a package deal? (I live in Canada btw). I'm looking to buy a baseline MBP, and then accessories like a laptop sleeve, case, etc.

No one knows. Buy when you need it. Search around here and you will find lots of speculation about WWDC, but that's all it is, speculation. I would expect a back-to-school event soon, but I don't know the timeframe.
