Purchasing iMessage

I know nobody knows the answer for sure but I would like to know what everyone thinks. I am currently on SL previously downgraded from Lion about a month ago. One of my most missed features is iMessage. Although it was only for beta testing, I would liek to know how many of you think that like FaceTime, iMessage will be available to be downloaded from the Mac App Store?

For Snow Leopard, no.

Not only won't it be available for SNow Leopard, there is strong indication that it will be Mountain Lion only.

2nd this, apple knows they only have a few features in there OS releases they use those features as the selling point for people to buy them

Very good point otherwise no point in ever upgrading.
