iPad mini Purple or Starlight? Did anyone swap after seeing them in natural light?

I changed my order from SL to Pink, but I think SL looks pretty good. Space Gray should have been Midnight. SG is a tired scheme.

I got purple. It looks like a purplish space gray, which is fine because I’ve always gotten space gray and either slapped a silicone back cover or skin on it.

With the English Lavender cover on it, the edges look silvery purple. The English lavender is a grayish, bluish, purplish color. Even though royal purple is my favorite color, I’m growing rather fond of this particular purple. It will probably show dirt less than some other versions of purple.

Does the new starlight color resemble the older gold the second generation 12 inch MacBook came in?

Not really. Starlight is a VERY subtle gold, for lack of a better explanation.

Very happy with the purple. It’s not bright purple it looks greyish in certain light. I saw the starlight and don’t like the slight gold color.

Sitting in a slightly darker room the purple has a light blue hue.

Yeah, I ordered a black Folio, but Apple needs to come out with a clear case.

I'm not a fan of gold, brass, copper, or bronze. So that yellow tint bothered me.

I see pink on certain lighting, and also yellow-ish gold. so I agree with you. I like purple but its not my first choice. I prefer the iPad air color choices.
