If the line doesn't move, it's a screen issue.

Of course, it is!

Everybody knows LG Monitor of the 2012-2013 27'' iMacs suffers from several issues.... important info (27'' iMac screen issues) you can find in some other threads.

PS: I think, APPLE should replace LG Monitor contracts and decide to place orders for SAMSUNG Monitors (more reliable!)...the "enemy"! :p

It's definitely a screen issue. It's frustrating having to work with this iMac. The replacement is still not ready yet. I hope to have it till next Wednesday...

Apple should stop buying displays of inferior quality...

Apple has been using LG screens since ages. My old late 2009 got one.

time is passing and LG doesn't show any evidence of improvement...maybe, SAMSUNG is still the flagship of monitor development....since I have heard anything new coming from Japan...(from India? from China?).

Yeah half of the older imac generation screen have been replaced... you should see the smudges and gray shadows on my earlier model... screen got replaced 3 times and I'm a non smoker. I thought it was a design flaw but looks like the screen quality isn't that great.

AFAIK, Sony laptops got the Samsung one.
