Purplish Pink Screen of Death?

Hey, this iPhone 2G was abused by its owner and he now wants me to sell it. When he handed it to me, it had the common frozen apple logo. I thought a simple force restore, or DFU mode will solve it; but, no, all computers refuse to recognize the device. After playing with it for awhile, everything faded into white, then pink, and then purplish lines began to appear. Any suggestions? Once again, the computer DOES NOT RECOGNIZE it.
