That video still is beyond bad. Oh neat! Aliens look just like we've always drawn them like in cartoons!
I seriously doubt the first aliens we discover will even have heads. And they will not be on a human scale.
AFAIK, there's not really a whole lot of CGI in that movie. They quickly showed a Higgins boat being created in a 3D app, but they mostly used practical effects and good, old fashioned compositing and color grading to pull off the visual effects.CGI is amazing. Don't believe everything you see.
