why doesn't push email work for me at all? i have a gmail, aol, and a school account on my iphone 3g (firmware 2.2). i don't have to have mobileme or microsoft exchange to make it work right?

Gmail and AOL don't offer push. Chances are your school doesn't offer push but you can check with your IT dept.
 
I have Entourage. Can that do anything?

It's not up to you. It's up to the people providing the e-mail.

As was said, AOL and G-Mail don't offer it. If your school does or doesn't depends on if they use Exchange, and if they do, if they have push enabled on it.

You'll have to ask them about that, no one here would know how they have their system set up.
 
To use Yahoo! push do you have to get Yahoo! Mail Plus which is like $5 /mo?
