Push Email with 3.0?

I was hoping for push email with 3.0, but that did not happen. For this to work, is a change needed with Apple or the email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc) or both?

Hopefully something will be worked out soon.

yahoo had push email now. no go on gmail. though with imap it acts like it as far as it deals with emails you read and delete and such.
