I could swear that, after regaining internet connection (be it Wi-Fi or cellular), the notifications that were sent when the device was offline, would be pushed through.

I'm not receiving any, be it on any app… For instance, if someone sent me a message on Facebook, i would receive a notification when my device got connected to any network… Now, nickles...

Did i dream about it? If not, any ideas on what i did wrong? :)

Thank you

It should work that way and generally has been in my experience.

You are correct - should being the operative word.

We have had questions / bugs filed with us for our service related to exactly this (Roost - push notifications made easy for websites), and in turn opened a support ticket with Apple. (Had to use one of our support credits for it.)

It took awhile for them to respond, as they said it was not an issue, but did eventually confirm that they recreated this. No resolution so far. They actually requested we install OS X Yosemite dev build to try to replicate.
