push notifications arent working?

ive had a few friends send me a game challenge for tap tap... it never popped up.
then i downloaded ap mobile... and nothing.

i made sure they were turned on.
is this a possible server overload?

this is on an iPhone 3g.

since updating AP news last night i have received 1 notification, around 11 today, it was kind of a novelty, i heard the custom sound, saw the badge and when i opened the app it didnt bother to direct me to what the notification was for. I think thats an AP problem and not Apple, id love to see weatherbug get push since i live in FL, thunderstorm city
