I did a bunch of searching but couldn't find anything on this.

I just got an iPad last week. I already had an iPhone. I noticed that once I installed an app on the iPad that I already had on the iPhone (like ESPN ScoreCenter) and told it it was okay for it to send me push notifications, I stopped receiving them on my iPhone. I found that this happened for all apps. I then found a way to get them working on my iPhone again, by turning off push options for each app on the iPhone and then turning them back on.

So the question is, is there some secret to getting the notifications on both the iPad and iPhone, or is this a limitation of the current push notification implementation?

Thanks.

As far as I know this is a flaw in the current notification system. A pretty substantial flaw if you ask me. Hopefully this will be addressed in the next iOS version when Apple does an overhaul of the whole notification system as I doubt it will be addressed in any of the 4.x's
