Push Notifications Question Please Help

LOVE my first iphone got today, 3gs.... woot woot

I downloaded textfree lite and I heard they had push notifications. where in the setting do i go to look at/set this.

i also set up a gmail account, will the phone beep or do a push notification when i recieve an email too?

Open the app(s) with push notification, allow push at the popup, then go to settings and you'll see the new section for push. It's not there until there's push app with permission.


Gmail doesn't push.

first, gmail doesnt push...

second, launch textfree. press OK when the alert shows. then go to the settings app then the third choice down (i think) it should say notifications... thats where you make sure that the push was set up properly.

Under sound in settings you can set it up whether or not you would like e-mail notifications. It is not push
