Push Problem 1st generation iPhone

Since upgrading to 2.0 I notice that my phone doesn't check for emails, as per my setting, every 15 minutes. Or if it doesn't, it doesn't alert me. I've tried resetting it from don't push to push, but nothing so far has helped.

Any ideas?

What email service are you using? If you use Exchange or MobileMe they will use the Push technology. If you are using gmail or other, it will do a fetch. The fetch goes by the timed intervals (15mins, etc.)

I had the same problem before with the 15 mins not checking email. I haven't check it with my other email services.

This is about par for the course. My iPhone classic has never reliably fetched every 15 minutes or had the Yahoo! mail pushed to it. One day...

I have a POP account (@verizon.net). What if I turned Push off--since POP isn't push-capable--and just leave it to fetch every 15 minutes. Would that solve it?

When I upgraded to 2.0 all my email worked even push with yahoo but then
yesterday everything stopped working I'm not getting any emails. I go to my email box and it says its checking them but never shows new ones, I know there's email on all the email services I use............weird
