iOS push tabBarItems

hi my application have a navigationController and tabBarController on the 1st interface. In one of my tabView I have a button. I am able to push a new navigationController view from this button action. But the problem is the tab bar items reamin still on the new view.

Can any one help me to figure out how to push them together?

I want it to be just like the iPod application when it move from Playlists to Now Playing view

I looked at the question earlier today and I didn't understand the question to be honest.
