Anyone know of a Push To Talk app? Would love to have a PTT app like the old direct connect from nextel except on the iPhone.

I too can't wait to try this. I often get text messages when driving and I can't respond. This would be nice!! Thanks for the info.

Wow I didn't know Heytell had been around that long. It seems to be really exploding these days. I've been using 4-5 days and now I'm reading about it frequently. Good find, davidmooneyhan - especially a great find 8 months ago!

The best things in life are free.

Trying to get some friends onto this so we can have FUN with it. Appealing as I can speak quicker than I can text.
Thanks for the heads up on such a cool app, even better when they are free.
    Cheers,
    Adam

You may want to check out Voxer Walkie Talkie. It offers more features and the biggest advantage is that it actually streams the audio live (vs. voice messaging), so the recipient(s) can listen to the message while you are recording it :)

Very fast, reliable and very good voice quality.

Only con is if the recipient doesn't delete messages, it give you a warning that your message that you sent may not be heard.
