Hi,
Does anybody know a software or script that can enable a key on OSX to act as a PTT button activating/push and deactivating/release the internal microphone? I searched the forums and the Google, but found nothing. Thanks.

I think that's usually handled by the program that would be recording or utilizing the microphone input. The program may have to tap into OS X Universal Access though in order to make the PTT key be system wide. Is there a specific program you are trying to use PTT with that doesn't support it?

Yes, Skype. Do you know any solution for that?
