Just wondering if my push is working properly, it seems to work when recieving emails but if I check them on my Mac and thus mark them as read they still appear as unread on my iphone until I manually check them on there.....but it does work the other way round, when I check them on my iphone it marks them as read on my mac and elsewhere

That's the way it's been working here for a long time as well. I've had it for over a year and it's always been like this off and on.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3G: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A400 Safari/528.16)

This is by design.

I don't work for Apple. I am just saying Apple decided not to push those kind of updates. Maybe to conserve battery life.
