put hard disk to sleep when possible [MBP2015]

    Hi, this feature has been checked under "Energy Saver", is this needed for my 2015MBP?

    unless you're using external drives, odds are it will do exactly nothing in normal usage whether on or off.

    Not sure if it also puts SSDs into a deeper idle sleep or something. If it's on by default, I would leave it alone.

    It might, but I don't think the main system drive gets much of a chance to do that anyway, and the power saving is going to be negligeable either way.
