Putting app. in Iphone 3g using Total Commander

Yes i have jailbroken my iphone 3g. Got Total Commander setup I just want to know how to put it into my phone i.e what folder, etc...

I think its /var/stash/Application.XXXXX

var/mobile/Media/iTunes_Control/Music (for music)

var/mobile/Media/Photos/thumbs(for Pictures)

Just curious, apps such as Lights Out that were used in 1.x.x doesn't necessarily work on versions 2.0.x correct?
