Putting ATV in DFU mode with Harmony remote?

My ATV is stuck on the Apple logo after a failed OS upgrade. When I plug it into my computer it does not show up in iTunes. I need to put it in DFU mode, but I currently have it paired with a Harmony remote. It doesn't seem like the Harmony will allows simultaneous button presses (menu+play.)

Any suggestions?

try to plug it into your computer with teh AC cord unpluged onthe ATV3
