I'm just wondering if anyone's tried this. I have my iPad Air on my mobile share plan, with 10GB. Normally its personal hotspot feature works great, but I've thought of the possibility of putting the SIM in a cradlepoint style device as a backup internet connection for my home network.
Does this work? Does AT&T care? Has anyone attempted this? I know the unlimited SIMs work in some cradlepoint-like devices, but what about mobile share plans?
