putting iTunes purchases on DVD

so i bought a tv serious on itunes but i want to watch on my tv. how can i put them on a dvd, toast?

Not sure, but I think it allows you to.

Apple TV? I know that you can backup to DVD from iTunes but as far as making it playable on a DVD player I don't have any direct experience. I think Roxio Popcorn and Toast will probably allow you to do that but I don't know the process for accomplishing that.

hopefully someone can chime in who has done it, im not gonna go buy appletv just for that

You cannot burn purchased video files onto DVDs, you can only back up the files.
