Putting tunes on the watch

It's about the only thing that I can't figure out. I realize that you have to charge the unit for it to transfer but all I get after 12 hours of charging his sync pending after it runs up the percentage to 99% what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Yes, i read the manual, i am not missing anything i can tell.....
I am using just a test playlist of 25 songs.

I'd try rebooting the watch and iPhone.
