So here's the story. I unlocked my girlfriend's iPhone using the original pwnage tool running 1.1.4. All was fine until..... she updated the software to Apple's 2.0 when iTunes prompted her to. The phone is no longer unlocked. I have tried restoring it back to 1.1.4, using both custom firmware and Apple firmware. I have tried using pwnage 2.0 to make a custom 2.0 ipsw and that isn't working either. I have gotten error (4), (6), and (20) messages when I try to restore it using iTunes. I have also gotten to a point in the pwnage process where it says that I do not have the phone in DFU mode... I know I have it in restore mode, what should I do? Also, when pwning, when in prompts the question "Are you a legit iPhone user?", what does that mean?

If you restored to a stock ipsw, then you will need to re-pwn the device before you can put a custom firmware on the phone.

Also, DFU mode is different then restore mode. Search.

The legit iphone user question is asking you if pwnage should patch the lockdownd file to bypass activation or not. If you are unlocking, then you want it patched.

Okay, so I got the phone into what I believe is DFU mode. The phone is non-responsive and the screen is black. When I hook the phone up and try to restore it I get an error 1600 message. Any tips?
