does jailbraking my iPhone 3g void my warranty with Apple/AT&T?
Yep, and some of the stuff that you can do will violate your contact with AT&T.
stop misleading member
well it will only void if you bring them the iphone with the jailbreak apps. In order to AVOID the termination of the warrenty, just do a HARD RESET to your iphone and restore it to default.
u mean by plugging it in to itunes, and clicking restore to factory settings...
Yes. Then you can send it to Apple and they will have no idea. But technically it does void your warranty.
Is that true? Once you've been successfully jailbroken, you can just plug it into itunes, click restore, and it's that simple, you're back to "stock" and apple is none the wiser?
So long as it's only been jaibroken, and not unlocked for use on a non-official carrier network, yes, it's that simple.
tethering.... and using your AT&T/O2 data from a computer
