tyring to jailbrake and hopefully later unlock my iphone 3G by using pwnage tool, when trying to jailbrake my 3.1 software using simple mode, I get a red message stating "No Firmware Bundles Found!", and when I use expert mode and try to browse for ISPW, and install the one I am currently using or one of the many compatable ones on my hard drive, I get a message stating "Wrong Firmware Bundle Selected". I am using Pwnage Tool 3.1.4.

I suggest you re-download 3.1, or download 3.1.2.

Same thing happened to me with an iPod Touch once. kept trying everything I could think of, but nothing worked. I redownloaded the firmware and boom, it worked 😛

thanx, but still no progress, any other solutions, I tried black rain, and it didnt work either.

What is the name of the firmware file? in needs to contain 1,2 and 3.1.2. If it doesn't then download the 3.1.2 IPSW and try it again.

Both files iPhone1,2_3.1_7C144_Restore, & iPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore, both no good. Iphone 3G.

Make sure pwnage tool is current. I always download them from the blog.iphone-dev.org. And make sure you are choosing the one that says iPhone 3G(S). Maybe try rebooting your computer also?
