Ultrasn0w 1.2.2 with 4.3.1 possible?

I have an iPhone 4 JB with 4.3.1 and 1.59.00 BB. I currently have ultrasn0w 1.2.1 installed.

I have just noticed in Cydia that an update to Ultrasn0w 1.2.2 is available. Has anybody upgraded Ultrasn0w to this version in 4.3.1? Any problems? Should I upgrade or should I avoid it until I decided to move up to 4.3.2?

I did it earlier.
My MMS stopped working again but I removed my sim, restarted the phone and then put it back in and MMS started sending again.

Yes you should upgrade if going to 4.3.2.

Wanting to know for sure if ultrasnow is gonna fix the mms issue? Also if i create a custom ipws with Pwntool, can I just update and not restore? I dont want to wipe everything, just control-update

I just used redsn0w to untether jailbreak my iPhone 4 on 4.3.2, much easier then pwnagetool. It took about 3 minutes to jailbreak.

+1 redsn0w was super easy. You just have to know where you ipsw file is located and its a snap. I was still on 4.0 so it was time for an upgrade.

Custom ipsw by their definition wipes the phone. When you install it, it will install the jb as well as the iOS.

I'm in wait and see mode. I'm deciding if I'm okay with the cosmetic defect or the possible loss of VVM/MMS.
