Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster here. Hopefully I've posted this in the right spot and I didn't miss a topic already addressing this issue (been at this for hours so my brain is frazzled). Here's my issue.

I have a Toshiba Portege M200 Tablet PC that I am trying to install an OS on. This laptop doesn't have an internal optical drive and is relatively incompatible with most external drives for booting purposes. My last alternative is to use my G4 tower with Tiger as a PXE server to boot the laptop through the ethernet cable.

Now, I know nothing of this stuff, and this is my first foray into such a thing. My laptop, upon loading the BIOS tell me "No DHCP or proxyDHCP offers were received". That leads me to believe that the laptop cannot connect with the Mac. I have software running called Tftp Server that set's up the mac for tftp, but doesn't seem to do much in the DHCP front.

Any advice on how to proceed, or where I'm going wrong?
