Python on iPad

    Can Python be installed on the iPad ? if so would be very grateful for any pointers. :)

    Yes

    You have to install Cydia (jailbreak1ng your iPad first) and then you can install python. It is version 2.5.1 as of today... something is something!

    I wrote up a quick-n-dirty howto/tutorial on how to install Python and a text editor (Textastic) for a pretty good development environment on the iPad.

    Hey man, this is great. Will try this out once ipad 2 JB is out. thanks a bunch as I was looking for something like this.

    If only code::blocks could be installed on an iPad...haha.
