Q: 4s and saving a game app

I have an IPhone4S. I've been playing a game and now want to make more room on my iphone. If I delete the game off the phone, I'll loose my save. Is there a way so I I can put back on that one game later and continue to play where I left off?

Unfortunately, I dont think that is possible.

So icloud doesn't save my game saves? Or it does, but I have to restore all or nothing(meaning, the whole iphone needs to be restored)?
