I was able to get an X yesterday. I was hesitant at first thinking that the screen would be a downgrade from the iPhone 7+ size. After 1 hour with the X, I believe that the X has better ergonomics.
Nevertheless, I noticed that the bottom back left of the stainless steel band was not aligned with the rest of the frame.
If you placed your thumb on the back of the phone and slide it out towards the edge of the phone, I would feel the band edge scrapping my thumb.
I returned the phone today, and the genius and other folks there were able to feel it as well.
I think this is poor quality control. For a 1200$ phone I would expect something better.
