QIK app?

are we ever going to see an official QIK App for the iphone? now that the 3gs has video, this should totally happen. qik is the coolest thing. lets you strem live video to the web for free.....anybody heard of this in the works?

When a 3rd party app uses the video functionality, it probably just gives you an interface to take a video, then after you are done recording, passes that video file to the 3rd party application.

This is how the still camera works in the API, and I have a feeling it's the same for video. So, no, a setup like this would not allow live streaming, only recorded video files.

while that may be true, it still does not mean that a qik app would not be possible. the 3rd party app could transfer video live could it not?
