Hi, I had Final Cut Studio legacy installed from years ago and have recently deleted it as I work with the current day FCP X now.

I've got two apps left over that I wasn't sure are safe or not to trash, Qmaster and Qadministrator. Are these required at all when working with the current day FCP X, Motion and Compressor?

Running macOS Sierra.

Thanks

The way Qmaster works in the newer Compressor has been changed a fair bit, and you no longer need those apps, no. Compressor can still schedule jobs for different machines, assuming Compressor is installed on all of them.

OK thanks for the reply, I'll trash those apps.

I've no use for scheduling jobs, or using multiple computers so it's just simple home use.
