Quad core on the iMac???

With the info released today about the mobile quad core going into the laptops, why aren't there any plans to release a quad core in the imac line? A re they waiting on new technology from intel? What gives?

Well in my opinion the imacs are a more likely update but im not steve so i cudnt tell you.
