Has anyone tested this particular card yet?

It's essential for me to retain SL compatibility on my 5,1, and I know that this has been mentioned as a "maybe" card that will be both Mojave and SL compatible.

Before I spend the money on one, has anyone tried this card in Mojave yet?

Actually according to "System Information" it does support Metal.
What does System Information report as Metal support? For instance, my GTX970 reports:
Metal: Supported, feature set macOS GPUFamily1 v3

This is what it says:
Chipset Model: NVIDIA Quadro 4000

Type: GPU
Bus: PCIe
Slot: Slot-1
PCIe Lane Width: x16
VRAM (Dynamic, Max): 2048 MB
Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)
Device ID: 0x06dd
Revision ID: 0x00a3
ROM Revision: 3581
Metal: Supported

SL?

Never mind. Figured out it meant Snow Leopard. Duh!

I dug out a (non-Mac) Quadro 4000 and tested it on a 5,1. Mojave installs and runs just fine with this card with just the built in Nvidia drivers. I do see some tearing when moving windows around, but it works.
