To reply to these negative thumbs... The 3DS came with some crappy Bow and Arrow game where you could move around if your 3DS was pointed at this stupid card..

Now, take the iPhone/iPod/iPad2 camera and this special app and you get the same thing.

The same thing, except maybe a bit less crappy and way more awesome?

Nobody's impressed with your trivialization.

IMO, this could be enhanced further, if you used an iPad instead of the mat. That way the 'point of reference' could be dynamic. (Plus.. you don't have to carry around a mat which you can't use for anything else).
