quality text resolution monitor advice

I broke my LG Ultrafine 4k and wanted to see if anyone can recommend a quality monitor that functions well with using spaces and has sharp text? I used to own the Dell 34 inch ultra wide and liked it but the text wasn't all that sharp. Also I broke that monitor by dropping it.

I used to own the LG Ultrafine 4K and recently upgraded to the Ultrafine 5K. I did a lot of research and the sharpness of text and brightness of monitor made me stick with Ultrafine in spite of all the noise about them (not updated frequently, too ugly, too expensive, weekly rumor going to be discontinued, waiting for apple version, made of plastic, etc.) To me it's still a fantastic monitor and I have no regrets on buying the 27" 5K in 2020 and I can't imagine staring at anything else for hours on end.

Agreed - the LG5k is a great monitor. Dell also used to make a 5k monitor in the past, don’t know if they still do...

the other, more expensive option is also the Pro Display XDR which may be over kill but you will certainly get your sharp text!
