Quanta - iMac production

Thats a nice PC u got there blakespot.

Imacs need to come down in price not go up. With a flat panel imac the price will go up. Unless introduced as the very top of the range model.

 
G4 velocity engine for iMac !

The G4 Altivec is GREAT for iTunes ! It speeds ripping by 200% !
Thus, I guess there is sufficient reason to ask for a G4 in a new iMac, especially if all new professional desktops get now the new G5...
BTW: also Quicktime and Mac OS X are much faster on a G4 due to Altivec ;-)
