will my 2010 macbook take this drive?

    'Toshiba 1tb MK1059GSM'

I have read MBP 13" are ok with it being 12.5mm ...

So just wanted to check if my macbook would be ok with 12.5mm hard drives. thanks

just wanted to check because most 2.5" drives are 9.5mm not 12.5mm?

Sorry, you are correct, it will not fit. I only had a quick read of the specs. I should have known as there are not many (if any) 1TB 2.5" SATA that fit a Macbook.
