Quck hard drive upgrade question...

I have read MBP 13" are ok with it being 12.5mm ...

So just wanted to check if my macbook would be ok with 12.5mm hard drives. thanks

Yes. Its a 2.5" SATA drive so will work perfectly.

Sorry, you are correct, it will not fit. I only had a quick read of the specs. I should have known as there are not many (if any) 1TB 2.5" SATA that fit a Macbook.

Where have you read that? As far as I know, all Unibody MacBooks can take 12.5mm HDDs.

at the top of this websites page it says this 12.5mm drive will fit all unibody macbooks/macbook pros.

got a samsung 1tb 12.5mm and it works great
