Actually, since the official measure of "largest ships" is gross tonnage, the QM2 is no longer even the largest passenger ship, having been surpassed by Freedom of the Seas.

I remember being aboard the Voyager of the Seas back in 2001 when it was the largest passanger ship. It amazes me how large these things keep getting!😱

Here are a couple of Photos I took of Queen Mary 2 when it was docking 3 years ago in Hamburg, Germany.
Yeah it was in Sydney on the 20th also passing the sister ship Queen Elizabeth 2, saw it arrive on tv.
